Twiddly Fingers

I'm plagued with Twiddly Finger Syndrome. :) My mother had it, my dad had it for a while, most of my cousins have it. Little known outside my family, TFS is a disorder characterized by an incessant need to constantly do something -- ANYTHING -- with your fingers. Sometimes this takes the form of smoking, sometimes eating, in other cases nail-biting. Having learned to channel this compulsion, I now put hooks and needles in my fingers and make things most of my family members don't need or want.

Tinsel Scarf

This is cute. It looks like a garland of tinsel. This was easy to make, but it took me almost a year to finish, because I put it aside for the summer.

METHOD:
One large skein of YarnBee gilteyelash yarn in color "twilight." Might have looked better with a more silver version. Done on #10 needles, from LionBrand Pattern.

I had leftover yarn so I made the dog a scarf as well, which he models here like a pro!

AND WHAT DID WE LEARN?:
Leaving a project in the sewing room for a season is really depressing. From now on, I'm not putting stuff aside.
